'I cannot praise or thank Mrs Jeffries enough for the continuous effort and encouragement she sewed into me in English. In the classroom, her passion for the subject and her students showed through the way she prepared, taught engagingly, listened to people's needs and even crafted a website for outside aid. Countless times she would provide extra help, giving up her hours with essay tips, insightful knowledge and new ideas to improve on.'

'Mrs Jeffries really was a valuable part of the Year 12 experience. As a student I noticed that the pressure, culture and stigma surrounding the year was sometimes overbearing for teachers and students alike, but her combination of succinct communication, focusing on the task at hand and constantly reassessing the progress and trajectory of the cohort were all key factors towards the improved year-on-year progress of both the school’s Psychology and English classes. Not only a proven educator, but she also is generous with her resources and has an upbeat, friendly demeanour.'
